On January 12th 2010, Haiti was struck by a Mw=7.0 earthquake. This seismic event, whose extent has yet to
be precisely determined, has caused significant damage in terms of people killed, injured, trauma, social,
economic and environmental losses, as well as another step back to the recovery and development process of
Haiti.
